2008 Champion is Crowned


The Manchester Manatees are the 2008 champions of Darren Daulton's 7th Dimension. The Big Steve Bombers finished in second place. Pirate Penguins, the regular season champions, finished in third place.

2007 Champion Is Crowned


The Bomb Squad defeated DDogg Domination 8-3 to become the 2007 Champion of Darren Daulton's 6th Dimension. Cole Hamels was named MVP of the series and Darren Daulton confirmed that Hamels would be recognized in an elaborate ceremony on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 A.M.(GMT). Hamels will also receive an autographed copy of If They Only Knew. In other action, Can of Corn held off the Big Steve Bombers 6-5 to wrap up 3rd Place. Can of Corn also won the regular season title with a record of 148-102-14.

Can of Corn win rights to Rick Ankiel



Rick Ankiel has joined Can of Corn after being claimed off waivers. The 28 year old outfielder was placed on waivers Saturday and the winning claim was announced early Tuesday. Ankiel is hitting .375 with 3 homeruns and 6 RBI in 16 at bats for St. Louis. He will join his new team on Wednesday.

Manatees trade Matt Holliday



The Manchester Manatees sent outfielder Matt Holliday to Mon Keedik on Thursday in exchange for outfielder Brad Hawpe. Holliday, who was named to the National League All Star team, is hitting .335 with 20 homeruns and 84 RBI in 421 at bats for Colorado. Hawpe is hitting .293 with 18 homeruns and 69 RBI in 331 at bats for Colorado. Both players will debut for their new teams on Friday.

Delmon Young traded to Bomb Squad



On Tuesday the Manchester Manatees agreed to a deal that will send outfielder Delmon Young to the Bomb Squad for second baseman Ian Kinsler. Young is hitting .278 with 9 homeruns and 48 RBI in 345 at bats for Tampa Bay. Kinsler, currently on the disabled list, is hitting .241 with 14 home runs, 35 RBI and 11 steals in 261 at bats for Texas. Pending league approval, both players will join their new teams in time for Saturday's games.
